About The Leah Rose Residence

The Leah Rose Residence for Senior Citizens of Nashville is a modern apartment building of 17 floors, designed to provide the opportunity of sharing the company of neighbors while still enjoying the privacy and comfort of home.

Located in a residential neighborhood, the residence is within walking distance of churches, restaurants, movies, shopping, and a bus line. Several colleges are nearby, and on-site parking is available for convenience and pleasure.

Eligibility

All citizens who are 62 and over may apply, provided they are able to maintain themselves in a living situation. Applicants are limited to those whose income does not exceed income limits determined by regulations of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

• Applicants must be 62 years of age or older.
• Residents should be able to maintain an independent living situation.
• Income eligibility follows applicable HUD income-limit regulations.

Financial Arrangements

Apartments are available on a priority basis. When an applicant is approved for occupancy, a security deposit in the amount of one month’s rent is required.

The resident signs a one-year lease, renewable annually. The lease may be cancellable upon 30 days written notice by either the resident or management for cause. Applicants may call for an appointment to view the residence and obtain an application.
